Every number is worked out in the app from the standard quilting conventions: ¼ in seams, fabric about 42 in wide once the selvages are off, strips cut across the fabric, amounts rounded up to the ⅛ yd (or 10 cm) a shop cuts. Each calculator page says how it works it out.
Can I use centimetres?
Yes: Settings › Units. Every number in the app and on the website follows it, and the boxes you have typed in are re-written in the new unit.
My fabric is wider than 42 in.
Pick its width in Settings › Your fabric’s width; every plan and calculator then uses it. The backing calculator has its own choice for wide backing.
Are the block patterns free to use?
Yes. The 20 blocks are traditional, public-domain patterns quilters have shared for generations, drawn and measured by us. Make and sell what you sew.
How do I restore Pro on a new phone?
Settings › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
How do I cancel Pro?
In your iPhone’s Settings › your name › Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before it renews. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
